TWRA investigating after two boats collide on Cherokee Lake

Morresburg, Tenn. — One person was hospitalized after a boat crash in Morresburg.

Hawkins County Rescue Squad, Hawkins County EMS, Hawkins County Sheriff’s Office, Lakeview Volunteer Fire Department, and TWRA were on the scene of a boat crash involving two boats on Cherokee Lake near Chelaque Way in Morresburg. It happened just before 9:30 pm on Saturday.

Officials say everyone involved was accounted for.

The incident is under investigation by TWRA.
