Compact lifting rings for small hatches and lift-outs. These popular flush mounted lifting rings are widely used throughout the marine industry—most boats have several installed when they leave the factory. The small foot print and shallow depth make Perko lifting rings ideal for cabinetry, lift-outs found on berths and lockers and smaller sole panels. Surface mounting is completed by drilling a 1 1/4" hole and securing the pull ring with flat or oval head screws. A completely flush installation can be achieved by drilling a little deeper and mortising the square flange into the panel. Boat builders use this style of installation so frequently many of them have equipment dedicated to facilitate quicker process. Can be installed over lifting holes to provide a more finished look.
